Company: Dow Jones Job Description: The Wall Street Journal’s Middle East and North Africa bureau is seeking a journalist to cover Iraq and Iran, the off-and-on rivalry critical to understanding the region’s past, present and future. To navigate this challenging coverage area, the reporter ideally should speak some Arabic and/or Persian, and will have worked in conflict zones. We will also consider candidates who have shown an ability to tackle and tell ambitious stories from foreign countries. Covering breaking news in Iraq and Iran will be an essential part of the job, and the reporter should be adept at filing for digital as well as print platforms. The reporter should also have an eye for connecting dots to offer bigger picture stories on compelling themes of a fast-changing Middle East.
