Relationship Manager - Commercial Banking
To manage and oversee the given portfolio of corporate accounts in the branch, source new business, analyse credit proposals, maintain credit quality and generate revenue towards achievement of the budget. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Follow all guidelines laid down in the “Guidelines for lending officers” of the Bank. • Follow guidelines laid down in the “Credit Policy” document. • Credit: • Primary credit accountability for all lending decisions on accounts within job holder’s portfolio. • To assess and analyse credit risk in depth and take responsibility for the preparation of comprehensive limit applications and regular annual reviews in timely fashion. • To proactively identify potential problem accounts at an early stage and recommend appropriate remedial action to minimise credit losses. • To obtain timely approvals for customer requests (excess, adhoc, etc). • To identify, market, source and book new business, and develop and monitor existing commerc...
