Summary of the role
Perform accounting transactions and validate accounting accuracy, completeness and compliance to corporate and international standars for Dubai hub office as well as other branch offices.
Main responsibilities
Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports concerning assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities in compliance with professional and corporate standards.
Protect company assets through regular verification of the accuracy of financial transactions records (bank reconciliation, invoice controls, etc.).
Internal and external report of the financial statements of the company/branch offices following local GAAP and/or IFRS.
Manage, control and gather all the relevant information in order to keep accounting records for the company.
Maintain relevant accounting documentation in order to back up company financial statements in front of Tax authorities, external/internal auditors.
and any other competent authority requiring information.
Fulfill all the tax requirements from a local perspective such as tax returns, VAT records, etc.
Perform payroll activities in coordination with local HR
Close coordination with various cost center owners/Branch offices to analyse & discuss financial results
Manage external & internal auditors
Requirements
- Years of experience: At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting department in a multinational organisation
- Education: University degree in Finance / Accounting
- Others: Woking knowldge of SAP; advanced Excel skills. An understanding of the airline business and/or GDS industry will be an advantage.
