Admission Secretary (Preferably British/Arabic)

Duties and Responsibilities
• Delegate admissions administrative duties to the Admissions Assistant including - verifying application documentation and educational history,
• Update pipeline status of candidates as they move through from introduction/information to enrollment stages of the admissions process on LMS/CRM
• Oversee the admissions process for direct reports and provide training as required and maintain high level of privacy and sensitivity
• Follow strictly criteria defined by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Abu Dhabi Education counsel
• Review all disclosure documents with candidates and obtain signatures
• Schedule (as necessary) and collect verification of CPR (during pre-requisites), immunizations, initial background checks (as a part of the admissions file checklist in the folder
• Create official student admissions folder with appropriate sections and checklists
• Collect initial registration fees for program enrollment
• Participate in scheduled evaluation and goal setting meetings with direct manager
• Educate candidates on the nature of the program and its academic demands
• Set appointments and tours with prospective students with companies, schools and corporations
• Stay up to date on all programs offered by the campus as well as changes in the employment marketplace - including program statistics such as; placement rates, licensure pass rates, retention rates
• Complete application form with students and enter data in the LMS including personal information, program interested in and likely start date
• Evaluating advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.
• Directing activities of external agencies, establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.

Skills

Qualifications
• Must be qualified to High School Level or equivalent
• Must have excellent English and Arabic language Skills including reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the similar position, British and Arabic
• Must be computer savvy and should possess basic skills in MS Office
• Able to priorities tasks, use time effectively and work to tight schedules
