Job Description

Job Purpose:
Directly manages the Restaurant staffs and responsible for overall revenue targets, service delivery, team member engagement, restaurant profitability & planning, achievement of the sales, expenses and staff budgets. Make sure that the service levels are achieved according to the standards set by the franchisor. Achieve the required F&B cost.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly in accordance to the set standards
• Seek and maximize revenue opportunities and minimize costs
• Having an in- depth knowledge of the menu offering.
• Maintain a good level of staff moral and satisfaction by recognize great performance.
• Induction training of the new staffs for the operation, Conducting staff appraisals(Mid year & Annual)
• Consistently exceed guest expectations
• Develop a motivated and high performing team committed to delivering clear goals
• Protect the health, safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues
• Be a change agent, constantly reviewing service delivery
• Develop a culture of actively seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis
• Ensure customer requests and feedback, both verbal and written are responded to promptly and efficiently
• Execution of all actions according to marketing plan.
• Ensuring that all accounting matters including the handling of cash, cash floats is followed according to the set guidelines.
• Managing Sales and Conversion
• Agree and support implementation of revenue generation initiatives
• Create, deliver and measure promotional activities, including staff incentives
• Ordering of all restaurant related items including food and beverages
• Recording of all wastages of food and beverages products
• Completing of all daily, weekly and monthly paperwork.
• Responding quickly and positively to changing requirements whether within the department or outside in order to meet business demands
• Facilitate the creation of business strategies and conduct regular strategy update meetings

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills and commercial awareness
• In-depth product and market knowledge
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Proven work experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager for minimum 1 year or as supervisor for minimum 2 years in UAE
• Good leadership, interpersonal, communication, team work, problem solving and organizational skills
• Self-disciplined, intelligent, responsible and presentable
• Satisfactory background check
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
