Associate - Corporate Finance
Supervise financial / accounting / market due diligence for prospective Borrowers / Issuers (financial analysis, market analysis, rating reports, industry reports, trends in debt market, market soft circling) with the help of Analysts and Senior Analysis
Ensure correctness of the pipeline, deals lost data base and market deals data base and other MIS such as the CPR prepared by Analysts and Senior Analysis
Be accountable for the filing process for every transaction (electronic filing in shared folder as well as physical filing)
Ensure marketing tools are up to the standards of Mashreq (placemats, pitch books, Information Memoranda, Prospectus, teasers, tombstones)
Ensure league tables are up-to-date.
Help and support in origination / structuring and distribution process
Help and support in documentation process and closing process
Provide support to Senior Associates and Associate Director in originating transactions, structuring and negotiating transactions, selling transaction to potential investors, documentation process
Key result areas
Analysis of Dashboards. Advanced financial analysis to arrive at Yes / No recommendation for transactions
Accurate Liquidity Analysis (for distribution of loans)
Pipeline Report / Deals lost report / Market deals report on a monthly basis
Ensure fee booking is correct and is done on a regular basis
Ensure accuracy of Financial Models with stress tests and assumptions for structured transactions
Develop FAQ for prospective lenders / investors
Focal point for Files updation (electronic and physical)
Marketing documents (pitch book, placemat) and deal specific marketing documents (teaser, IM, Prospectus, invitation letters)
Help and support in Structure papers – transactions memos – term sheet – mandate letters preparation
Help and support in Greenlight memos / underwriting memos /
