Duties and Responsibilites
- Act as assistant Architect for the lead designer/manager within the design team.
- Responsible to support the project team to enhance the "Design Excellence” through qualified project delivery.
- Part of the design team for small and medium sized projects, supporting the design towards achieving the client’s objectives to cost and project schedules.
- Supervise and work alongside a team of architectural technologists towards developing the design packages.
- Originate, develop, document, and review drawing packages from concept towards detail design and construction documents.
- Prepare the presentation of plans to governing and permitting authorities for land use, zoning and permit approvals.
- Prepare project reporting tools on design progress and project performance
- Carry assignments to completion with minimum guidance in accordance with project objectives, professional standards, policies and procedures.
- Understanding and the ability to conduct coordination between different disciplines.
- Manages the coordination, interface and interactions with internal disciplines and teams within AECOM and with 3rd parties in relation to Technical, Financial, Safety, Quality, Programme and other elements of a project, to ensure successful execution of the project’s scope of services.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in with major course work in architecture required.
- Strong Design Skills and the ability to initiate concept design proposals and develop them towards workable schemes.
- Familiar with researching, preparing and presenting technical presentations and reports to client and senior management team.
- The ability to work with a team is an essential for this role.
- Ability to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Expert in using Revit, CAD, Indesign, Sketch-up and other graphical soft-wares (experience in Rhino is preferred).
