AV Project Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
? Implementation of A/V systems.
? A/V systems installation support.
? Test and commissioning of A/V System.
? Plan and follow up projects.
? Provide implementation assistance, as well as testing and trouble shooting of the wiring loom with the technicians.
? Understand the devices to be and check design drawings and offer suggestions and solutions to ease implementation.
? Train internal staff and Client members.
? Implement Company Quality Management System.
? Work Experience in Visio and AutoCAD.
? Basic Project management capabilities.
? Audio Visual Systems integration, design and installation.
? Support Sales in preliminary design proposal.
? Performed site surveys and installations of various audio,
video and electronic systems.
? Responsible for overseeing completion of projects and managing additional techs on projects.
? Supervise field technicians based on system drawings and project requirements.
? Provide training material & project documentation of projects.
? Testing, commissioning, training and project handover.
? Troubleshoot and maintain AV system installations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in :
? AV infrastructure support, design, installation and commissioning including conference room control systems, video teleconference systems, scheduling systems, and digital projectors
? Reading and understanding construction drawings and related documentation.
Key Skills:
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
? Excellent time management and organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, large environment
setting.
? Project Management, Networking, Control System Programming.
? CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D Certification will be added advantage
? Familiarity with Clearone, Biamp, Tandberg, or Crestron Control Systems.
? Basic knowledge in Control system programming, and DSP configuration.
Education:
Bachelors of Science or Diploma in Electronics.
Driving License:
Preferable to have a driving license
