Job Description
Servers systems installations, implementations and configurations (Build, Backup and Monitoring)
Important knowledge/experience on Linux Operating systems (Redhat)
Important knowledge/experience on Linux Clustering
Important knowledge/experience on HP Blade Systems c7000 Chassis
Important knowledge/experience on HP Apollo Servers Important knowledge/experience on HP Data Protector v9 including VMware backup, application level backup for Exchange/SharePoint/SQL/Oracle/SAP, Deduplication and Accelerators technology
Important knowledge/experience on HP StoreOnce 5100
Important knowledge/experience on HP Tape Libraries and backup media management
Important knowledge/experience on HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage Arrays
Important knowledge on Disaster Recovery Solutions and mainly vSphere/3PAR Metro Storage Cluster (vMSC)
Operational experience in managing SAN Fabrics topology along with SAN physical connectivity (Brocade technology)
Understanding of Enterprise Management Systems( HP Open View)
In-depth trouble shooting and problem analysis skills
Experience from a Service Provider preferred "
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
RedHat Certifications would be desirable
HP Data Protector Certifications would be desirable
HP Hardware and Storage Certifications would be desirable
Hands on experience managing and implementing virtual and physical environments
ITIL v3 foundation or equivalent Service Management knowledge
Ability to design and deploy client solutions
Operational experience in managing/maintaining complex platforms within a managed service environment
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with specific focus on technical and operational documentation
