The MedMEA business is comprised of 27 countries including the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, and the Mediterranean. In addition to the cultural diversity found in the MedMEA business, the MedMEA Marketing team is a fun, energised department of around 12 people based in Dubai, Athens and Saudi.

As a Brand Manager you will be responsible for setting and delivering the NSV budget for assigned Pringles. You will also be responsible for the delivery of fully integrated commercial plans for the assigned brands, in line with the Snacks Category strategy and the MedMEA Cluster.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?




  • Accountable for the MedMEA Pringles business performance for assigned brands e.g. NSV, market share;
  • Identify and own brand growth strategy and plan and ensure alignment on Category regional strategies;
  • Develop selective local magic plans where it makes significant impact;
  • Provide timely and specific input to Categories on category strategy, brand plans, Master plan, toolboxes, consumer/shopper insights and future innovations;
  • Own and manage local below the line A&P budget and deploy budget by initiative to the local activation team;
  • Track/analyze initiatives and recommend corrective action, if necessary;
  • Actively collaborate with the Category Business Unit and input into the category brand plan and strategies. Be the voice of the cluster consumer and shopper for Pringles;
  • Act as a Brand/Portfolio SPOC for Category on strategies, consumer initiatives and lead business reviews. Provide necessary inputs to the S&OP process;
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor marketing activity and be proactive by looking for opportunities and propose big ideas to the business unit. 
 
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE? As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Marketing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required

  • First significant brand management / activation experience within Top Tier FMCG industry;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams at a manager level; ability to influence across organizational boundaries;
  • Brand management experience; familiarity with the innovation process; brand development experience to ensure familiarity with brand equity tools, communications, media mix;
  • Marketing Mix Management: allocating resources to each element across the mix consistent with brand objectives and strategies, marketplace demands, and Kellogg financial requirements;
  • Forecasting and Learning: disciplined approach to all activities that involve setting goals, predicting outcomes, tracking performance, and drawing on learnings for the future.
Preferred
  • Educated to Degree level in Marketing or Business;
  • Fluent in Arabic;
  • Multicultural exposure; acts as a truly International Citizen.
