BRIDGE’S CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
• Provide supervision and oversight to Project Manager
• Provide training and mentoring to the field staff and others for successful delivery of projects
• Report and update on project's status; coordinate and cooperate with client, departments, divisions, and private utilities involved in or affected by project(s)
• Serve as primary contact for coordination of technical issues.
• Perform structural inspections and prepare condition appraisal reports
• Coordinating and supervising on-site construction workers
• Selecting tools and ordering materials
• Assist with and coordinate for materials testing and analysis during design and construction
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety is as per compliance
• Checking designs & drawings; prepare site reports
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
• Assessing and minimizing project risk
• Participate and/or lead pre construction meetings as well as weekly construction progress meetings
