The function of the Markets team is to help support the growth and development of KPMG’s business across the Lower Gulf region, through its offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman.
The Markets team is actively focused on driving excellence in all marketing and business development practices and is responsible for services such as thought leadership development, research and surveys, key account management, bid management, CRM, events, PR, graphic design, sector initiatives, communications, digital marketing and sponsorship.
To further enhance the delivery of marketing and business development services across the firm, we are expanding the team, leverage best-in-class tools, developing and implementing new communications and training programmes.
Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager (Pursuits) within the Markets Department, the Business Development Analyst will support the broad business development needs of the Markets team.
They will provide information gathering, data analysis and CRM support to ensure the efficient operation of many of the firm’s key strategic business development initiatives. These include; the key account management program, proposal development, new opportunity analysis, tender process management and the firm’s sector program, among others.
Central to this role is the day to day management of the firm’s CRM system, with responsibility for data management, analysis and report generation.
Roles and responsibilities
Specific duties associated with this role will include:
· Monitor external tender portals for opportunities relevant to KPMG and disseminate/communicate them internally
· Help gather internal and global KPMG credentials and other promotional information for input into large proposals
· Help support the running of the firm’s major bid review process
· Be a data gatekeeper and closely monitor all data/opportunities created on CRM
· Create periodic reports and dashboards based on CRM data
· Work as a liaison between the business and Markets to understand key business development reporting and information requirements
· Help prepare Sales and Marketing status reports for all key account and sector meetings
· Support the roll-out of business development training programs across the firm
· Provide support for other business development initiatives as they arise
Qualifications and Background · Qualified to degree level – ideally a business, economics or informatics degree
· A recent graduate, or someone with 1-2 years post-qualification experience –gained in a large corporate background
Skills and Profile · Excellent analytical skills
· Ability to synthesis large data to derive meaningful insights
· Highly proficient in MS Excel
· Prior knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM
· Effective organizational and project management skills
· Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines, multiple stakeholders and opinions
· Good attention to detail
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Ability to develop working relationships with all levels ie most senior to junior people
· Energetic, positive and motivated team player
