Key Purpose

Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts/areas. Responsible for meeting quarterly and yearly sales target in line with forecast.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop to completion new opportunities for CSG Assure throughout the EMEA region
  • Drive cross functional sales by working with other internal stakeholders including the CSG sales team to drive CSG Assure sales into the installed CSG customer base
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development to ensure CSG Assure continues to maximise opportunities and remains competitive within the market
  • Prepare sales strategies and action plans
  • Negotiate and close contracts with customers
  • Manage the sales pipeline and achieve agreed targets
  • Convey the CSG Assure value proposition to current and potential clients
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations over the web and at customers sites
  • Participate in customer events, trade shows, User Group meetings,
  • Take active ownership of accounts to ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Report on all sales activities and follow up for management in Sales Force

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 8 -10 years sales experience within telecommunications industry
  • Detailed understanding of the interconnect and/or roaming business, gained from working at or selling into an operator
  • Current knowledge of the wholesale carrier and/or mobile operators industry in Africa and the Middle East
  • Experience in challenger and solution sales methodology and account management
  • Proven ability to develop targeted sales strategies and develop new business
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • French language skill a plus
