Responsabilities for the BDR role include:
- Building rapport with contacts via (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
- Calling prospective buyers (CIO, System Administrators, Systme Architects, IT heads, etc...)
- Booking webinars, demos, in person or online meetings
- Entering key information to update the CRM system and determine next steps for success
- Creating opportunities in CRM system
- Searching internal & external databases, LinkedIn, etc. for additiona key contacts within existing companies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong phone and in person communication skills
- Great problem solver; ability to grasp technical concepts easily
- Strong active listening skills
- Ability to multitask and strong time management skills
- Resourceful & ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
- 3+ years in a professional role- preferably in IT company
- Candidates with prior knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper V) and storage concepts will be favored
- BA/BS degree
