Business Development Executive

Distilogix is a value added distributor focused on virtualization and modern storage with highly innovative and disruptive technologies. The company is growing and looking for A players to come on board.
Responsabilities for the BDR role include:
  • Building rapport with contacts via (webinar invitations, white papers, relevant blog articles, etc.) and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
  • Calling prospective buyers (CIO, System Administrators, Systme Architects, IT heads, etc...)
  • Booking webinars, demos, in person or online meetings
  • Entering key information to update the CRM system and determine next steps for success
  • Creating opportunities in CRM system
  • Searching internal & external databases, LinkedIn, etc. for additiona key contacts within existing companies
Desired Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong phone and in person communication skills
  • Great problem solver; ability to grasp technical concepts easily
  • Strong active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask and strong time management skills
  • Resourceful & ability to adapt quickly to changing environment
  • 3+ years in a professional role- preferably in IT company
  • Candidates with prior knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper V) and storage concepts will be favored
  • BA/BS degree
