Business Process Officer

Mediclinic Middle East is hiring a Business Process Officer. The Business Process Officer will be part of the revenue cycle management department. This position is responsible for coordinating the RCM components of the EHR project specification and roll-out that is not taken care of by the ICT Project Management team. The role will liaise closely with the Clinical counterpart on this project. Following the completion of this project, the position will perform a similar role in further Business process and/or systems enhancements

Bachelors Degree in a Marketing/Public Relations/Business Administration or similar qualification
•Previous experience in healthcare.
•Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
•Experience in engaging with and coordinating projects with senior management. 
•Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary input and feedback.
•Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
•Experience in the UAE healthcare market would be advantageous
•Good understanding of healthcare industry required
•Exhibits commitment to effective problem solving techniques when issues arise
•An understanding of or experience in project management principles would be beneficial.


Coordinating the RCM Department’s components of the EHR project specification and roll-out.
•Ensure the RCM Department stays on track and produces the specified deliverables to the main EHR Project Management team. 
•Liaise with the point person in the Clinical Department looking after the EHR project to ensure the RCM and Clinical touch points are addressed.
•Ensure the above components are appropriately prioritized and delivered.
•Facilitation of all logistics pertaining to the above, including scheduling of meetings, producing agendas and minutes, arranging venues, etc.
•Ensure all health information system (HIS)/EHR support is provided and queries are successfully addressed in conjunction with the Business Analysts
•Interpret all HIS/EHR requests and prioritized completion of the initiative in conjunction with the process owners (new and amended initiatives)
•Coordinate and assist in data gathering for all HIS/EHR improvements
•Ensure all HIS/EHR errors are collated, categorized and reported
•Monitor all HIS/EHR errors/tasks and follow up to ensure they are addressed and resolved on time. 
•Assist in system (HIS/EHR) applications testing for effective user functionality prior to rollout/implementation
•Coordinate the roll out of system changes and provide continuous support to all users during the implementation process
•Provide all stakeholders with communication on system changes/amendments. 
•Ensure ad hoc projects assigned by management are implemented, monitored and reported
•Facilitate logistics pertaining to HIS/EHR user training
