Jumeirah Al Naseem will have 430 luxurious rooms and suites, complete with walk-in rain showers, floor-to-ceiling windows and private outdoor terraces. The hotel is set among lush, landscaped gardens and offers three large swimming pools, as well as private beach access. Two banqueting rooms, each measuring 75 square metres, will complement the existing conference and events facilities at Madinat Jumeirah.

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Butler to join Club Executive Lounge department in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Build a rapport with all in-house VIP guests, ensure guests are recognized and obtain specific individual needs (likes/dislikes) in order to maintain guest profile and a high level of feedback within the department.
Maintain privacy and security of in-house guests and is continually proactive in all areas of operation.
Provide a full cashier and currency exchange service.
Prepare and check-in arrival rooms, in-house guests and departure rooms.
Up sell rooms/suites and cross sell all outlets within the resort and Jumeirah International.
Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all in-room services, amenities, functions, systems, as well as Opera and Micros.
Fully responsible for Suites / Presidential and Royal.
Coordinate laundry and pressing - collection and delivery.
Deliver and place the evening amenity/gift and newspapers in the room
Provide tea, coffee, and beverage service as and when requested by the guests.
Fully responsible for the manning and cleaning of the Suite Pantry / Kitchen (i.e. mopping, polishing glasses & silver ware, collecting stock from the main store and including linen collection, folding napkins, setting up a max of 12 fruit baskets daily, dishwasher usage, polishing of shoes, Polishing silver & Brassware).
Maintain full control over the Private Bar Inventory on the respective floor including: collection of new stock from store, replenishment and control on par stock as per the standard.
Service of evening snacks with alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages to the guest suites; special occasion preparation and service of cakes/flowers for the guest.
Maintains a full & comprehensive knowledge of the products and services available in the SBU, other Jumeirah properties and the local area.

Qualifications :

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year previous experience working as a Butler or Guest Service Executive in a 5-star hotel.
At least secondary education or diploma/degree in hospitality management
Excellent English communication skills
Knowledge in Opera (PMS) and as well as MS Office application
Outgoing personality with ability to communicate with guests and colleagues
Additional language (Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese or Arabic) is an added value
