Carpenter's responsibilities
Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing workBuild cabinets, vanities, and other types of furniture and fixtures based on demandInterpret drawings and prepare material and cutting lists.Select and evaluate materials for defectsInstall cabinets, counters, molding and skirting.Follow all health and safety rules at all times.

Examples of Carpenter skills2 years’ experience in finish carpentry in UAEAdditional 1+ years’ experience in rough carpentry preferredExtensive knowledge of power tools, including skill saw, miter saw and jigsawPossesses knowledge of how to achieve high quality finishes.Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on timeCapable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 poundsKnowledge of lumber grades and countertop materials
