Category Manager FMCG
Find new partners and develop existing licensees for all segments: from halo campaigns to mass sales. Develop the strategy and tactics which will unlock and grow a breadth of new categories, currently unexploited. Develop, implement and achieve yearly revenue budget Implement and day-to-day management of ‘licensees’ including contract negotiation, forecasting, product development, range plans, samples etc. Identify products, franchises and channel gaps and implement plan to fill them.
Implement Franchise and consumer segmentation strategy with partners Work closely with local and central team in order to secure international sourcing solutions, implement International agreements and marketing initiatives Identify the best route to market Execute regular budgeting and forecasting for FMCG and have full ownership and accountability for the profit & loss of the FHB category and delivering revenue targets Forge relationship with FMCG partners in order to establish a structure annual promotional plan. Align relationship with FMCG companies on a strategic platform. Regular and constant contact with relevant marketers, trade marketing managers. Cooperate with Disney KAM team to plan and execute retail activations Manage product development with product developer consistently with category plan and ongoing product quality improvement program.
Education: University graduate in Business administration or Marketing 5 years’ experience in FMCG industry in MENA region Commercial acumen important. Experience of Kids FMCG products/industry advantageous. Significant experience in sales / trade marketing in leading retail or consumer products brand Contract negotiation and management skills Ability to present, communicate and influence at highest level internally and externally Entrepreneurial mind set and hands-on approach Skilled in presentation software (Power point/Keynote) Quick Learner Politically savvy Sales and marketing skills Results oriented Excellent written and verbal communication Team player Reliable, resourceful and flexible Ability to work in a multinational environment and willingness to travel Fluent spoken and written English. Arabic is a plus Responsible for delivering the category strategy and tactics which will bring significant growth across our total MENA FHB (food health and beauty) business, developing a business which is long term and sustainable.
