RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute successful sales and marketing campaigns for and with the partners in conjunction with the Alliance and Channel manager and the Sales Manager. These campaigns focus purely on GB volume market, and can be both products focused across all market sectors and specifically targeting a vertical market sector. Oracle’s sales and marketing strategy is strongly targeting GB through partners; mostly 100% of the sales are indirect.Liaise with partners and take ownership for successful creation, execution, monitoring and reporting on all type of Marketing campaigns whether promoting partner´s solution, build on Oracle technology or pure products value proposition.Localize and execute global transactional campaigns promoting Oracle products. Seek input from and co-ordinate with all parties involved and drive successful execution throughout the whole campaign cycle.Communicate the campaign progress and outputs to Business Development Consultant, who turn the campaign leads (responses) into new business opportunities and pipeline.Focus on ROI from the campaigns – number of leads (responses), conversion rate (lead to new business opportunity) and pipeline are main KPIsConversion of country specific strategies into transactional marketing campaigns and sales initiatives for the small and medium companiesPro-actively seek inputs and stimulate discussion with Technology General Business management, Sales and Marketing teamsCreate, select, maintain customer data, target groups and lists and together with the partner and the Field Sales Representatives to identify key target audience and coverage strategyEngage and professionally manage third party suppliers – DM agencies, call centers, event organizers and list brokers.Own the fund for the territory to execute the campaigns against the original plan.Manage all related stakeholders communication and expectations for the assigned territories.Build yearly and quarterly Go-to-Market strategy and campaigns plan for the assigned clusters based on sales inputs and market demand. Then present it to stakeholders for further inputs and approval.QUALIFICATIONS and PROFILE:
Proven of min 4 to 6 years experience in a direct marketing/similar environment in the IT industryBudget planning skills and marketing frame work backgroundNative speakerCompleted University Degree in a Business or Marketing discipline.Knowledge of various business functions in Technology GB is advantageousExcellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essentialFluency in English and local language is a mustExcellent organizational and administrative skills, attention to detail and focus on resultsTeam player with a pro-active ‘can do’ mentality with the ability to drive and translate strategy effectively into executionHigh level of energy, drive, enthusiasm and commitment.Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic, international environment and openness to learnAbility to self-manage, with strong organizational and planning skills essential.Self- motivated to continuously expand personal professional knowledge.Ability to work in a high pressured, fast moving and challenging environment.Knowledge of Oracle’s products and experience with channel marketing and sales is an advantage
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.
A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunties. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle*s sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specfic needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle*s products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 - 7 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management preferred. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for solving business problems using technology and applications. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong executive selling skills as well as a demonstrated success in establishing and developing client relationships. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
