Clerk- Engineering

This position is within the Engineering Department of Linencraft and reports to the Maintenance System Coordinator.
Key Accountabilities
  • Provide efficient administration support for the Engineering Department across four sites of Linencraft.
  • Operate Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Purchase Request generation) in conjunction with department requirements and business policies.
  • Taking care of Employee Services for Linencraft Engineering in E-Workflow.
  • Monitoring RFU in conjunction with CPD Buyers and respective Engineers.
  • Following up with suppliers to receive the ordered materials in time.
  • Monitoring and Controlling engineering stores inventory and leading month end closing.
  • Taking Minutes of Meetings for all Maintenance, Capital Investment Projects and Suppliers meetings.
  • Arrange the necessary records and filing both hard and soft copies in order to satisfy legislative audits and traceability.
  • Demonstrate continual improvements through effective communication at all levels and meet objectives and Key Performance Criteria expectations.
  • Comply with the Company Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policy
Essential Requirements and Competencies
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Recognized certificate in Engineering or in IT.
  • Computer Literate with hands on experience of Microsoft Office especially MS Excel
  • Experience in preparing schedules and documentation
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow up with suppliers
  • Ability to work under less supervision
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and achieve results
