Commercial Department Manager
ACE Hardware is expanding and we are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help open our store in Sharjah. Reporting to the Store Manager you will assist to ensure that store is fulfilling its financial goals as well as providing direction to the store through leadership, motivation and effective communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales/Stock Management - Ensuring that the frequency and volumes of deliveries are according to peaks and that there adequate stocks available in the stores
Customer Service - Ensuring that that the highest levels of customer service are delivered throughout the store.
Security & Safety - Implement policies and procedures to safeguard the our assets and property. Also responsible for ensuring that Health and Safety policies and procedures are continuously improved to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff members.
Staff Management / Development - Provide guidance and leadership to all staff members throughout the stores. You will also ensure that all staff members are fully trained and developed to the level required for the role.
Experience: This role is ideal for a candidate who aspires to be a Store Manager later in their career. The ideal candidate will be an experienced retailer who has had some form of people management responsibilities. Your planning and organising skills will be second to none as well as your ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
