Consultant / Specialist Fetal Medicine

Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of high risk or complicated pregnancies. Examines patients to ensure proper care and provides consultation for complications associated with the pregnancy. May assist in maternal transport or prenatal diagnosis through the use of ultrasounds and/or genetic counseling. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother. Provides pre- and postnatal care as needed.

Qualification:
MBBS or equivalent
MD/DM/DNB/CCST or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum 5 years post specialization in Fetal Medicine

Good interpersonal and communication skills
IT literate

License / Registration:
Valid DHA / MOH / HAAD license/ DHA Eligibility Letter
