Job Description
A reputable Contracting company is urgently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Dubai. This will involve working on a large scale infrastructure project involving roads & highways and requires someone with previous experience in a similar role on RTA projects within the region.
Responsibilities
Manage the commercial delivery of the project
Ensure the administration of the contract is in line with the project requirements
Report with clients and other parties through effective communication
Management of risk/claim assessments as well providing a strategic approach to claim resolution procedures
Manage delay analysis procedures and advise on any further procedures
Provide advice on how to minimize the costs of legitimate claims and optimizing the financial result of the project
Management of risk/claim assessments
Monitor the change order process by analyzing the changes accurately
Oversee the internal and external daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Skills
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
BSc degree in relevant field is essential
Preferably further educational qualification such RICS membership
A minimum of 15 years of experience, of which at least 5 years in the Middle East in a contracts and claims role
A minimum of 10 years RTA project experience
Ability to lead and manage a team successfully
Outstanding communicational skills
Fully proficient IT skills including Microsoft office tools
Must understand FIDIC contracts
