Description


  • To provide specialist support to key customers in line with their requirements
  • Responsible for highlighting and developing opportunities to increase sales
  • Develop and manage relationships with current customers by making regular communications, meetings and visits
  • Take the lead in problem resolution and outstanding issues with key customers
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the market to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the territory is achieving or exceeding agreed targets
  • Liaise with sales and technical departments to capture business opportunities via common databases
  • Coordinate enquiries between customers and CSRs
  • Respond immediately to customer enquiries.
  • Manage customer feedback to material planning, warehouse, sales and marketing, technical services and accounting.
  • Actively promote customer awareness of special offers, packages and price updates.
  • Efficient planning of deliverables in conjunction with material planning and warehouse planning.
  • Manage the invoicing and documentation requirements.
  • Establish and maintain open communications with all other departments in order to provide information to and from the customers and to ensure that customer needs are understood and met.
  • Continuously improve work flows and inefficiencies to better serve the customer by using the Cummins tools.
  • Maintain up to date awareness of targets agreed with the region and to use this when dealing with customers.
  • Other duties as defined by the Manager.

Qualifications


Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • University or college degree required.
  • Good Communication and written skills with an analytical mind is essential.
  • Good overall product knowledge is essential.
  • Good IT skills is required.
 Experience:
  •  Should have experience of managing key accounts and developing new accounts.
  •  Experience ideally within engineering industry.
  •  Awareness of Cummins products and parts
