Job Description
As a Demi Chef De Partie, you are responsible to ensures that the function provides the highest food quality consistent with cost control and profitability margins; hence maximize guest satisfaction and food profitability - under the general guidance of the Executive Sous Chef.
Ensures the highest food quality appropriate to the market by assisting the Chef de Partie and Executive Chef in all areas of kitchen operations
Supervises the proper set-up of each item on menus and insures their readiness
Stores unused food properly to minimize waste and maximize quality
Works closely with Chefs to ensure correct preparation and delivery times are kept and food quality is maintained
Assures proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed
Assists Executive Sous Chef and Chef de Partie with checking of fresh products and dry storage items required by kitchen on quality and quantity
Guides and coaches the subordinates on a daily basis to ensure high motivation and economical working environment.
Checks daily time sheet is correctly filled at the section
