Main Objective
  • Support General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Trucks in respect of diary activities/Travels/claims and departmental administration.

  • Support to Mercedes-Benz Trucks Department

Tasks

Support of General Manager
  • Manage all logistics for travel (flights,hotel,car/transport)

  • Expense Claims Management

  • Organise and maintain business schedules and make business appointments, bookings and reservations. Take and maintain minutes during management meetings and provide follow up when required.

  • Prepare presentations for various management meetings when required.

  • Manage specific projects and lead in organising events.

  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the GM's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff

Departmental Responsibilities
  • Expense Claim Management for Heads of the Department2

  • Monitoring G&A; Budget

  • Organisation of Team meetings, Team building activities

  • Preparing workplace for new joiners

  • Maintaining the Gift, Meal & Entertainment log

  • Ensuring that the travel process is followed by the team

  • Travel Calendar Management

Assisting in Switchboard
  • Replacing the receptionist in case of Holiday/ team meetings

  • A high degree of Accuracy.

  • Candidate must also have good commercial awareness and a natural willingness to take responsibility and be solution orientated.

  • Excellent English skills both written and verbal required, Arabic, French and/or German desirable, but not essential to job

  • Microsoft Office knowledge, especially MS Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint & Word

Qualification
  • Academic qualification in Business Administration.
