Design Assistant - Babyshop

Job Description:

• Responsible for producing clear and accurate work details on technical packs and PLM system.
• Ensure all tech pack deadlines are met in line with the targets set by Senior Designer.
• Aiding Senior Designer in creative tasks such as trend and market research, sourcing new fabrications, creating colour palettes.
• Gaining Licensor approvals-sending Designs/Samples and Artworks to relevant licensors and updating their online systems. Keep track of each styles progress.
• Producing embroidery, print and all over print repeats in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Communicating technical and creative ideas to designers
• Sourcing fabrics and trims
• Making sure samples are made on time
• Participating in meetings with Buyers and QC’s
• Work within a Team, take instructions and conduct your work in an organized and professional manner.
• Be involved in seasonal market research to help the design team develop new product ranges
• Be committed to timelines and work over and above the allotted work hours if deadlines require Job Details
