Job Responsibilities

Perform refresh, installs, moves and changes for desktop and laptops. Such resources have a solid understanding of desktops and laptops.

Install currently supported Microsoft operating systems onto a desktop and laptop.

Load an image onto a desktop and laptop.

Load standard software applications such as Microsoft Office or other scripted installs.

Install (unpack, connect to the network and test) standard desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.

Find faults with basic office environment IT related problems (connectivity, application errors, operating system issues)

Replace components in both desktops and laptops ( hard drives, processors, fans etc.)

Understand more complex desktop and laptop installations and configurations.

Qualifications Required

Diploma or Degree in computer engineering or a related field.

IT Certifications such as A+, Server+, ITIL or similar will be an added advantage.

Core Competencies

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Collaboration with the ability to work within teams and also independently.

Must have self-motivation and initiative with the ability to work independently.

Strong technical aptitude.
