Key Responsibilities

• Plans, executes and coordinates the deployment of PCs, Laptops, I Pads, Tablet Devices, Network and Standalone Printers and other IT Client Hardware.
• Plans, executes and coordinates the upgrade of Client Operating Systems and Desktop Applications.
• Plans and provides IT technical training to end users according to business needs. Administer e-Learning System for extending IT Training to end users.
• Plans and coordinates the implementation of all Desktop projects, including managing available budget and IT project resources.
• Troubleshoots to resolve IT Client related problems on hardware, operating systems, Desktop Applications.
• Participates in the development of End-user hardware acquisition plans.
• Participates in IT Projects for the installation and upgrade of IT Business Software and Engineering Applications following standard procedure.
• Participates in the testing of the Contingency and Disaster Recovery activities to maintain service levels and ensure the continuous operation of the information services.

Qualification Required

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science. Information Systems or equivalent Professional Qualification.

Experience Required

• 6 or more years of relevant experience in all fields of computer industry including PCs, workstations, office automation, networking and software of which 4 years' experience in a similar IT setup within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience working as liaison to IT and business to gather requirements for technology solutions.
• Proficiency in one or more systems; windows, network, or telephony systems highly desired.
• Proficiency in providing technical design and support for designated infrastructure technologies.
