Director of Operations - Flight Support
Jet Professionals, on behalf of our flight support client in the UAE, are looking for a Director of Operations. This is a great role with a great company in an ever expanding region.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensures that services requested by clients are rendered on time.
2. Derive and implement procedures and ensures they are done systematically with the managements consent.
3. Ensures that suppliers' invoices are received at the earliest after we provide services.
4. Keeps records of all Navigation fees paid by us on behalf of the client.
5. Ensures that Navigation invoices and other suppliers' invoices are verified and approved for payments, and handed over to Accounts.
6. Ensures that daily briefing is carried out to MD/CEO.
7. Ensures that all cash deposits to the different suppliers are monitored and reported to Finance daily/weekly/monthly.
8. Ensures that after a flight has been completed, suppliers' invoices to be handed over to Accounts for invoicing.
9. Ensures that on a monthly basis, fuel uplift to be maintained and provided to Finance Dept.
. Ensures that on a monthly basis, handling/landing, etc. to be provided to Finance Dept.
. Give presentations to the Management on operational performance ? as well as on various management initiatives. Draws up an action plan and follow-up reports on its implementation.
. Conduct overall supervision and Audit the operations department to ensure that procedures are adhered.
. Provide support to support staff within Operations and ensures that they are guided, motivated and trained to effectively execute their responsibilities.
. Maintain frequent contact with Companies Board of Directors to provide information, discuss issues and provide input to support the decision-making process.
. Maintain periodic contact with clients to ensure that they are receiving the desired service.
. Budgeting and Budget Planning
Requirements :
1. FAA Dispatcher License
2. At least 5 years' experience in Flight Operations and Ground Handling
