Document Controller

Department Definition

The Procurement department interfaces with all of the departments and work-streams to acquire supplies and services. The department manages Expo2020 suppliers, oversees and agrees on all contracts for expenditures, ranging from buying pens to securing large companies to complete major construction projects.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The purpose of the role of is to provide centralised document control support for the Procurement function and other work streams.

Main responsibilities for this role include:

- Administer the day-to-day operations of document control, providing support to the team in order to achieve high performance standards;

- Establish and maintain strong relationships within the team and internal stakeholders;

- Provide compliance reporting against departmental procedures
EHS (Environment, Health and Safety);

- Support departmental initiatives to deliver continuous improvement to the team and Expo 2020;

- Perform any other related duties or assignments as directed by the line manager.

Skills

2+ years experience in a similar supporting role within a Procurement department as well as:

- A Bachelors degree in a related field;

- Strong communication skills;

- Demonstrable experience of IT software, preferable SAP;

- Working knowledge of DMS Systems, particularly Aconex.
