Drawing Office Manager
We are looking for Drawing office manager with 4-5 years experience in Telecom industry with good knowledge and experience on AUTOCAD.
• Agree budgeted drawing hours with Engineering Manager for Drawing work.
• Review all drawings of the CAD Draftsmen, and advise on any amendments
• Provide guidance to and direction to all CAD Draftsmen .
• Organise and schedule design draughting to meet project timescales and cost estimates
• Ensure all work undertaken meets relevant design codes of practice and standards
• Ability to understand detailed design issues and recommend appropriate/affordable solutions.
• Ability to review existing designs and adapt as necessary.
• Interpreting changes to relate to the context and circumstances of the work that is being detailed
• Spatial reasoning and ability to carry out 3D geometrical calculations.
• Product knowledge, technical appreciation of product development.
• Good knowledge of team skills so as to allocate to best effect.
• Project knowledge to help provide the appropriate solution.
• Market knowledge to understand the long term objectives of product development.
• A good understanding of Manufacturing and Fabrication processes and abilities within the desired region.
• Good knowledge of Design and Material Standards and specifications.
Experience:
• 5 years direct experience of telecom or similar structure detailing.
• 3 years direct experience using 3D AutoCAD.
• 2-3 years managerial or direct supporting role.
