Duty Operations Manager

Meraas Holding is involved in a number of high profile projects across Dubai. As the Duty Operations Manager, your role will be responsible for the marina operations including assisting the Harbour Master in managing an efficient, safe and profitable marina in accordance with Meraas principles, policies and procedures.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following;

• Assuming full responsibility for the highest standards of the site cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and employees’ service in accordance with Meraas standards.

• Managing all repairs and maintenance work of a routine nature and, where reasonably possible, ensuring that these works are carried out by marina employees.

• Assisting as requested by the Harbor Master and the Finance Department, in the keeping of records relating to finances and general records of the marina, (such as the monitoring of the business plans, ordering, stock-taking, cash sales, and reconciliation of creditor and debtor accounts and all relevant day-to-day marina records.)

• Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in all the marina operations.

• Overseeing the control of on-site concessionaires, licensees and tenants, ensuring due performance of their obligations.

• Liaising with the Harbor Master in preparing the annual repairs and maintenance budget, utilities budget and capital budget as well as monitoring costs to ensure that they are kept within budgeted limits.

• Reporting to the Harbor Master about the performance of the marina’s contractors and suppliers, thereby ensuring the satisfaction of their obligations.

• Building and maintaining a healthy and professional relationship with the marina Members and following-up with the Operation team and Front Office Agents accordingly.

• Ensuring that all the marina equipment and tools are licenses and insured.

• Complying with the guidelines as set out in the marina management manual and all other Meraas policies and procedures.

• Carrying out all other duties as may reasonably be required for the smooth running of the marina.
