Our client, a top end luxury five star hotel in the UAE requires a dynamic and talented Executive Assistant Manager -  Food & Beverage with at least two to three years of experience in leading a busy F&B operation in a luxury property. He/she must be highly experienced and have the ability to provide strategic leadership and direction for the F&B team. This position will report to the General Manager and be part of the executive committee.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop F&B strategy for the hotel
• Responsible for the administrative functions for all areas in the F&B department including banqueting
• Provide exceptional guest service by developing innovative and creative F&B experiences throughout all F&B outlets, Room Service and banqueting
• Work with the sales and marketing department to develop an annual business plan that is profitable and be able to meet business objectives
• Be able to monitor profitability effectively
• Work closely with all outlet managers and be able to train and mentor them with confidence
• Be able to recommend modernization of equipment, service standards, and presentation in order to improve guest satisfaction scores and profitability
• Actively participate in public relations activities, sales calls or other promotional activities
• Ensuring that HACAAP and other local regulations are adhered to and meeting the highest food hygiene standards.

 

Qualifications:
 

• Internationally recognized Hotel Management or Business Management  degree or certification
• Minimum of at least two to three years’ experience as EAM Food & Beverage in 5 star luxury properties with large volume operations (at least 8 to 10 restaurants) plus large banqueting
• Middle East experience is an advantage
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills with focus on talent management and succession planning,  creativity and innovation in food and beverage concepts and operations, and demonstrable achievements in improving guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Experience in working with multi-cultural teams
• Excellent communication skills with good proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
