Estimator
Hays are currently working with a company based in Sharjah that specialise in oil and gas manufacturing equipment and are looking to recruit an Estimator on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties;
- Process all available RFQ information and develop a viable quotation for the customer.
- Define all processes/resources (in-house and sub contract) required to produce the requested product along with the associated cost.
- Work with the Sales Team if critical information is missing and not able to be obtained.
- Use tools to develop bids including use of industry best practice machining methods, cut time, CAM software (Mastercam) and ERP systems.
- Cost estimation/ quoting by analysing labour, material, and time requirements
- Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications
- Plan departmental workload in line with production schedules to ensure operational effectiveness.
To be considered for the role you must have 4-7 years' experience in the oil and gas manufacturing industry and have advanced level understanding of manual and CNC turning and milling machining. Previous experience in cost estimation and quoting is essential.
The salary for the vacancy will be between 10,000 - 20,000 AED per month.
