The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the corporate sales strategy and for achieving the company?s overall sales target with a key focus on growing and developing new and existing business. The Event Manager will be responsible for creating and driving new revenue streams that have an impact on Corporate Sales income. Additionally the Event Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the corporate sales CRM database, client and marketing strategies.
In addition the Event Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the Event Executives, Event Co-ordinator and the Sales Co-ordinator helping them deliver against their agreed targets.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
? At least 2 years business to business sales within a corporate market
? Experience of successful sales, lead-generation and lead conversion
? Experience of pro-active outbound and face to face sales is essential
? A proven track record of achieving and over achieving targets is a must
? As well as a good sales and marketing background, management skills are key in this role as they will be leading a team to promote and excel the corporate side of the business
? Proven experience in managing and developing a successful team
? Proven experience in managing a marketing budget to generate new business is a must
? Must be a natural persuader and have the ability to influence piers and colleagues
? Outstanding interpersonal, communication, listening and influencing skills and a high level of credibility are a must for this role
? Commitment to delivering a high level of client service
? Ability to participate as a member of a team. An effective contributor to the overall team effort
? High level of communication skills, able to express ideas and information.
? Posses a passion for sales, tenacity and the will to succeed
? Demonstrates a willingness to make decisions
? Excellent time management, highly organised and attention to detail
? Self-motivated and expects high standards of performance and needs to achieve high quality of work for own self-esteem, with entrepreneurial flair and natural sales ability
? Ability to travel
? Intermediate Software competencies as a minimum- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and use of a sales CRM system

Requirement:
3 months? probation period
Valid UAE driving license
Ready to travel alone to different countries
Ready to work on weekends and late hours
