Analyze patron’s hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles.
Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics.
Can suggest client’s appointment.
Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on customers’ instructions, hair type and facial features.
Develop new styles and techniques.
Update and maintain customer information records, such as beauty services provided.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of available make-up and beauty products.
Maintain awareness of health and safety issues and legislation.
Communicating with clients to clarify visual requirements.
