Finance Accountant

Interiors Company based in Downtown Dubai requires financial accountant to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts:
• Preparation of accounts to Audit Standard
• Supporting Finance Manager and accounts team as required
• Issue of Sales Invoices
• Posting of Purchases Invoices
• Calls to Clients to follow up on outstanding amounts
• Preparation of Receipt Vouchers and issuing same to client
• Ensuring subsequent banking of funds
• Monitoring of Bank Transactions
• Assisting with Cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of Prepayments and Accruals

HR:
• Supporting HR Manager in the recruitment of new staff
• Issuing of employment contracts to new candidates
• Liaising with the Company PRO in relation to the processing of employment visas,
• Managing Company Visa Quotas
• Organizing Staff Training
• Management of the companies Medical Insurance Policy
• Recording and managing of staff holidays

Office Management:
• Personal Assistant to Managing Director as required
• Ensuring IT system is working efficiently and liaising with IT provider to ensure same.
• Maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment
• Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;
• Organizing meetings and/or taking minutes
• Organize weekly collection of mails from the assigned PO BOX
• Other Adhoc duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:
• Fully Qualified Accountant with prior experience
• Good verbal communicator with excellent written & spoken English
• Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage)
• Very familiar with accounting packages
• Good Listener & Self Starter
• Organized & Professional
