EMR is an emerging markets foremost provider of recruitment solutions specialised in most industrial segments and key functions. We are currently working with a leading firm looking for a Finance Director to be based in UAE.

Our Company is looking for a Finance Director for a major global organisation based in Abu Dubai. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation and development of internal control policies and procedures

Responsibilities would include:
• Supporting the preparation of business plans across the group, feasibility studies, financial statements, financial analysis, projections and information including due diligence process financial statements
• Developing an effective relationship with senior managers and becoming the key business lead on all finance matters for the business areas of responsibility
• Embedding a culture of financial and commercial challenge, ensuring that all the impacts of business decisions are evaluated and communicated
• Understanding the key profit and cost drivers in the business, ensuring that risks are highlighted and mitigated in an efficient manner
• Reviewing and consolidating budget submissions as well as streamlining the processes
• Managing the treasury functions and cash management operations
• Managing the re-forecasting process and preparation of the Group consolidation documentation
• Handling monthly review reporting and timely providing variance analysis reports against budget
• Directing financial and accounting system controls and standards
• Ensuring timely financial and statistical reports
• Responsible for financial aspects of strategic planning, investment portfolios and cash management
• Preparing reports that detail financial position in the areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and future operations
• Co-ordinating the budgetary processes of all departments and capital budgets
• Reviewing activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives; revising objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions
• Advising the President as well as the Audit, Finance and Compliance Committees with respect to financial reporting, planning, practices, financial stability, risk assessment, liquidity and financial growth
• Acting as the 401(k) administrator
• In collaboration with the Executive Director of Human Resources, increases the company's effectiveness by managing the performance appraisals and compensation program
• Managing the insurance program for the corporation
• Managing the preparation of payroll returns in a multi-state environment
• Managing preparation of IRS Form-990
• Anticipating and addressing financial issues
• Performing other duties as assigned
