Finance Manager

On behalf of our client a leading US corporate multinational who are based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Finance Manager.

Reporting to the GM you will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports for management and local statutory purposes. Specific duties and responsibilities of the role include, ensure the timely closure and submission of monthly / quarterly / yearly reports according to reporting requirements prepare the financial data / reports required for submission to statutory bodies, ensure the compliance with company global finance policies, ensure the compliance with the relative local statutory/tax requirements, liaise with the external auditors and tax agents regarding the year-end audit and tax filings, work with the local management in the preparation of the budget and forecast, monitor the budget and forecast achievement and provide the necessary variance analysis payment process management and costs control, accounts receivable and customer credit management maintain/implement necessary internal control systems; provide the financial analysis and advice for the deal proposals provide support to local management on finance matters, negotiate with the vendors or other third parties on deal terms, provide management, motivation and training to finance division staff currently consisting of 1 member.

Requirements

The candidate must have over 6 years experience in commercial accounting, with at least 5 years as a management role of finance in a multinational corporate company, have a degree in accounting, business, finance or a related discipline; completion of a CPA (US) or CA qualification, excellent skills in finance packages, Microsoft Excel and relational databases, experience with Hyperion, Navision and SAP viewed favorably; be fluent in written and spoken English; and have excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written, Strong attention to detail and time management skills; and Ability to work autonomously, hands-on and as part of a team
