Fleet Coordinator

Company: Tarwada Cargo Transport

Job Summary: Coordinating, controlling and supervising group of assigned trucks and drivers.

Key Accountability:

• Dispatches drivers according to the daily plan and to calls and mails as they are received from customers, using information on clients’ needs, drivers locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response

• Works with SAP and Fleet Board system, maintaining the trips records in the system.

• Works with Transport Planning Manager and Fleet Manager, to optimize the fleet performance

• Assists in determining daily level of driver staffing to provide best mix of responsiveness and productivity

• Handles incoming calls and e-mails from drivers, clients and sales department; manages service requests and ensuring on time service

• Initiates outbound calls to the drivers, ensuring the standard parameters for each route are met, solving other issues with drivers.

• Reports about misusing the vehicles, damages, required repairs.

• Visits the sites and controlling drivers at work, to evaluate and resolve efficiency problems,

• Ensures on-time service by coordinating Driver movement in the field by using the Fleet Board system.

Preferred Experience & Preferred Minimum Qualifications:

3 Years in similar role in Transport Operations Industry.

Graduate in any stream.
