Description:
We are looking for a bright and creative digital designer to join an exciting eCommerce startup. The Designer will be responsible for designing and creating the branding and digital assets for all online marketing activity required for our projects. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, your base, initially, will be Business Bay Dubai. Although based in studio, you will be involved in location work so travelling is an essential requirement of this role.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating and developing branding and digital assets for use on our eCommerce sites, including landing pages
• Working with the Social Media Exec and Digital Marketing Executive to develop engaging social media banners and email campaigns.
• Ensuring the brand and company image is delivered consistently across all our online marketing channels
• Continually exploring and pushing creative boundaries that engages and converts
Necessary skills:
• Experience working in an retail/eCommerce environment
• Experience designing for different platforms, including mobile and responsive
• Excellent Photoshop and overall Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge
• Creative and continually exploring new ideas
• A good understanding of UX/UI
• Able to work on your own and as part of the digital team
Desirable skills:
• Experience in digital marketing, in particular working in a retail/eCommerce environment
• Understanding of persuasive design techniques to optimise onsite conversion and ultimately drive engagement
• Generating ideas, and implementing infographic design
• Designing effective email campaigns
