As an HR Executive, you will be responsible to support the company strategically and operationally in different HR fields (competence development, recruitment, employee relations etc.). You are the ideal candidate if you have experience in core HR functions and are fluent in Arabic and English. Jotun Powder Coatings UAE (LLC) has developed its business with the focus to serve the Powder Coating segment in UAE. Our high quality products, combined with a history of innovations, have resulted in a strong position in the market. Today, UAE has 150 committed and competent staff and a present total turnover of more than AED 200M. The position reports directly to HR Manager and is based in Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE.

Responsibility

  • Complete recruitment process by short listing candidates in line with laid down criteria to ensure the ‘right’ candidates are interviewed.
  • Support the HR Manager to carry out/follow up the identified trainings which includes HSEQ trainings by coordinating with HOD’s as necessary to ensure that employees undergo trainings based on set plan.
  • Responsible to have an overview of all identified and nominated trainings by coordinating with all HODs and staff and to ensure that all trainings are completed based on set plan
  • Implement competence development activities by performing a close follow up with HODs, measuring its training effectiveness, and implementing necessary action plans to make sure that required competence is available.
  • Responsible to carry out induction process by preparing, coordinating schedules to ensure that new employees receive necessary information and introduction to the company and the position to enable him or her to contribute and perform well.

Qualifications

Education level

  • College / University, Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in the field of Human Resources
  • Arabic as mother tongue
  • Fluency in English
  • Project management experience is an asset
