HR Manager
Position Profile: UOWD is seeking applications for the position of Human Resources Manager from experienced HR professionals with significant management level experience. The Human Resources Manager provides the full range of human resource advisory and support to the University of Wollongong in Dubai consistent with the requirements of law within the United Arab Emirates, and HR best practices. The HR Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to all functional areas of Human Resources, including HR strategy and planning, staffing and recruitment, HR and related systems, management of rewards, benefits and policies, management and development of talent, HR operations and employee relations as well as to provide leadership and direction to the HR team.

Remuneration & Benefits: Annual Salary ranges between AED 300,000 - AED 360,000.

Essential & Desirable Criteria: ESSENTIAL:
- Knowledge of employment and related regulations, policies and issues as it affects an education provider in UAE, including
- Knowledge of immigration and visas
- Business excellence principals
- Recruiting, inducting, training, coaching, counseling and disciplining staff, coaching and advising supervisors and managers on good practice
- Advanced knowledge of HR processes/policies (Management Development initiatives/ Administration, Recruitment / Expatriate Recruitment tools and Competency Based Hiring / Compensation modeling / Performance Management Systems and Models)
- Awareness of the local labour law and legal compliance
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Communication and networking skills
- Planning and organising skills
- Fluency in written/spoken English
- A commitment to Values of Passion, Courage, Integrity, Exceptional, Collaboration and Creativity
- Arabic skills
Experience & Qualification: EXPERIENCE
- 10 – 12 years of experience in Human Resource generalist role
- Significant experience in a management role
- Significant experience in the education industry preferred
- An undergraduate degree in the field of Human Resource Management or equivalent
