Evaluates hazardous conditions and recommends engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment.
• Coordinates and conducts work area assessment, surveys, and program evaluations to determine the presence of hazardous conditions, such as noise exposure, indoor air quality, light levels, confined space and etc.
• Analyzes hazardous conditions and assigns risk assessment codes.
• Evaluates hazardous conditions and recommends engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment.
• Maintains complete and accurate HSE records as required.
• Responsible for and administers, the annual fire extinguisher maintenance program.
• Review and analyze accidents, near miss incidents, and making corrective action recommendations & ensure proper adequate/ corrective actions implemented to prevent re-occurrence.
• Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency. Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements;
• Ensure that operations workers, contractors and site visitors receive HSSE inductions for theatre operations;
• Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly HSSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSSE performance
