IFS - SUN/Oracle Developer/Implementer

The role requires a dynamic IT professional with extensive experience in designing, developing, implementing and delivering ERP, CRM, Finance and applications interfaces solutions, in addition to the excellent experience in all the phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and end-to-end development of software solutions, entailing requirement analysis, design, documentation development, implementation, testing, closure, delivery, solutions troubleshooting and support, with cross-cultural business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:
- Communicating with business users/stakeholders to gather requirement specs, and scoping the project
- Preparing Software Requirement Specification, and Coding Standards for the project
- Analyzing and design solutions for the project, and selecting appropriate technologies for development approach
- Solutions developing, implementing, code review, testing, debugging and troubleshooting
- Implementing software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and best practices
- Conducting project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and reporting to senior management as required
- Perform a timely risk assessment, escalation, mitigation and management, in addition to providing technical and process level support to the project and technology teams
- Provide current and future applications support
- Ability to work with different business / technology team members
- Working to mentor and train other members of the project team / colleagues in order to foster a high performance team environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as computer Science, Information Technology
- The following qualification(s) are preferable and beneficial for the candidate to perform the role:
- ERP, Oracle, SUN system etc., implementation certificates
- RDBMS development and implementation certificates
- Experience in implementing and support the following Systems:
- SUN System:
- Experience in implementing SUN GL
- Strong skills in administration and troubleshooting of SUN GL
- In depth knowledge of SUN business rules, Transfer desk process
- Experience in development of integrations from / to SUN GL
- Experience in developing Vision templates
- Oracle Financial System:
- Experience in implementing Oracle financials in an enterprise environment
- Good skills in Oracle databases administration and maintenance
- Hands on experience in Oracle BI tools
- Solid experience in different technology applications Development and Implementation, like and not limited to the following:
- RDBMS: Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.
- Reporting Tools: SQL Reporting, Data Reports, etc.
- Operating System: Windows platforms, LINUX, etc.
- Other Technologies & Tools: Data warehousing, SQL Profiler, etc.
- IDE (Integrated Development Environment): Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Management Studio, etc.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Development, Implementation and support with direct interaction with business users, preferably within a professional services environment
- In-depth understanding of Development and Implementation techniques and best practices, requirement gathering and analysis, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), solutions testing especially UAT, solutions support and maintenance
- Knowledge in Project Management methodologies and Cloud based solutions implementation
- Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize work load whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Arabic is preferred but is not prerequisite
