Duties and Responsibilities:
• The candidate should have at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same position in the hotel industry.
• The incumbent Inventory Clerk will assist the Asst. Cost Controller in his day to day jobs and is also mainly responsible for the inventory and stock taking of various stores as well as the rooms Furniture. He/she can be assigned in various another day today and miscellaneous duties which are part of the cost control departmental responsibilities
• Verify that all assets exist by placing an initial by the item as it is verified.
• Know the location of all equipment in their inventory and assure that such equipment is reasonably secure from possible theft and other hazards.
• Report any changes in location to Inventory Control.
• Updating existing costing with current purchase prices.
• Updating the Inventory system regularly
• Verification of spoilage and damages reports.
• Approval of operating equipment issues.
• After completion of the physical inventory, Inventory Clerk will report the findings to the Department Head for review and action if required.
