JOB SUMMARY:
Common Duties and Responsibilities: Administer and maintain the organization’s information systems to ensure that they function reliably and in accordance with user needs.
Install and configure information systems and associated hardware in accordance with technical specifications. Communicate with system users. Efficiently investigate, trouble-shoot, and resolve system problems. When necessary, escalate system problems to more senior staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems, software (Applications), networks, printers and scanners.
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.
- Responding within agreed time limits to resolve Issues Logged via the Helpdesk System
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time / Multitask.
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for continual learning.
- MCP /MCSE / CCNA Certification an Advantage
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
University Degree in Computer Science or a related Subject
MCP /MCSE / CCNA Certification an Advantage
EXPERIENCE:
2+ yrs. of related experience
