Kitchen Staff
Job Description - includes but not limited to:
• Check the quality of raw & cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Prepare & cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or special functions.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards & regulations
• Conduct strict quality control on raw supplies & finished products
• Ensure that supplies & material delivered meets correct quality & quantity in accordance to set standards
• Urgently resolve quality issues
• Maintain proper consistency & quality of processed food
• Establish & maintain quality control system to safeguard consistency
• Ensure strict compliance to food safety & hygiene standards
• Manage adequate supplies of materials used in maintaining adherence to food safety & proper hygiene
• Reports unsafe conditions in the kitchen & suggests possible solutions to hazards.
• Weighs & measures ingredients, properly using recipes in order to produce a standard product.
• Operates various kitchen equipment as assigned, reports malfunctioning equipment.
