Logistics Coordinator
Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a large western construction and engineering group in Dubai.
• The responsibility of the Company Logistics Representative is to ensure the product is delivered without damage & complies with all regulatory & legal requirements.

• Pre plan container & break bulk shipments per bundle to ensure minimum safe & efficient loading.
• Supervise the packing work by supplier and its subcontractors.
• Assist with managing provider & their subcontractors for FOB – Break bulk and Container shipping.
• Attend port on loading days to ensure smooth operation.
• Expedite and complete work as requested by Logistics manager/Fabrication Manager.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training and safety records.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, or fabricator issues relating to logistics issues.
• Ensure the product is delivered without damage.
• Monitor product processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures and government regulations for product transit and delivery.
• Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
• Build strong relationships with shipping and transport companies, customs offices and port authorities to assist to maximize efficiency of stock distribution.
• Responsible for ensuring total compliance with corporate policy and procedures and all local laws.
• Ensure the timely delivery of the correct steel in accordance with the projects programme
• Ensure that documentation such as delivery dockets is in place and all goods received are signed off by the client upon receipt
• Maintain a strong team commitment within the project team and company generally
• Ensure that best practice is used at all times.
